Orange Lemonade

I wanted to make a citrus lemonade, so I bought some lemons and oranges to make orange lemonade. It  taste just like a lemonade just a bit more sweet because, of the sweet orange juices. It's great for a summer drink.

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, water and sugar. Stir well until sugar dissolves.
Add orange juice. Mix well and chill. It makes about 4 servings.

My niece wanted to help make the lemonade

A Cinderella Birthday Party

Happy Birthday!!!!!

My niece Alanna just turned three, and I wanted to share with you a few photos - so you can get a few ideas yourself to throw a Cinderella birthday party for your niece or daughter.

Alanna loves Cinderella, so for her birthday party theme this year we knew it had to be a Cinderella Party. We bought blue and white balloons, and tie them with silver strings. We also bought blue and pink fake flowers and glue them to pink and blue strings and pin them to the ceilings.

I'm not sure where my cousin got the Cinderella Cardboard cutout, but you can get one at Party City

my cousin got the cake from simplycakesbakery

My cousin placed a blue tablecloth over the table. The cake was in the center of the table, it was pretty good - and looked beautiful. Next to the the cake was a cupcake stand full of cupcakes. (not pictured) was snacks and candy at the left side of the cupcake stand. On the upper right side of the table was the Cinderella party cups full of candy as candy gifts bags. I think what made the table look really beautiful was the little touches she put on the table - like the Cinderella doll, pink shoe, tiara, Cinderella toy dolls. But most importantly was the picture of Alanna hugging Cinderella when she met her in DisneyLand.

Alanna loved her birthday party. She felt like a princess with her matching Cinderella Dress and her Tiara. She was the princess of the ball.

The candy gift bags was in a Cinderella Party cup with a tiara. You can get a similar party cup at Party City

My Burt's Bees got in the picture.

My cousin got mini tiaras for the guest, and she got a Cinderella pumpkin carriage candle. I Love the cupcakes!! Mostly because I made them- I made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese dye blue.

Cake Pops

I made cake pops with my sister earlier this week. I got the pieces of cake from a cake that I had made earlier. We crumble up the cake and put frosting, so it stick together nicely when you roll it into balls. After you roll them into balls i recommend leaving them in the fridge for about an hour. I melted some dark chocolate in a double boiler, and coated them in thin layer. I also coated some in Peanut butter, and Nutella. I left them in the fridge again for another hour. When they are done enjoy because, they are delicious.
-for the chocolate I sprinkle them with coconut
-for the peanut butter i sprinkle them with powder sugar
and for the Nutella I didn't sprinkle them because they are sweet enough
