Homemade Oatmeal Raisin cookies

Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

My sister asked me, if I can make her homemade oatmeal raisin cookies. So I checked if I had oats, when I saw I did, I started to gather all my ingredients so I can start making them. I never made homemade oatmeal raisin cookies before, but when I found this recipe, I know that from now on I will AlWAYS use this recipe whenever I want to make oatmeal raisin cookies. The cookies came out soft, golden, and delicious. I put in chocolate chips in half the batter, and put raisins and nuts in the other half. Hope you try this recipe. Enjoy.

Four Lovely Things

Three Day Weekend: Relaxing Time

Homemade Chocolate chip cookies
(that i made for my sisters)

This Memorial Day weekend I'm planing to have some relaxing time. I even planed out how am going to do it.

  1. Eat some comfort food ( i.e sweets)
  2. Not wear make-up
  3. Give my hair a conditioning treatment ( to repair my hair from all the heat and products it gets)
  4.  Try to eat some fruit (to balance out the sweets I'm going to eat)
Or and one thing I MUST do this weekend that I know it's not going to relaxing, is picking out a color to paint my room.

HASK Natural Essentials: Hair DEEP Conditioning Treatment
( you can get this at Walmart for just $1 each)

my bag full of make-up
(well... maybe not all of it is all mine, half of the make-up in the bag is my sister's )

fruit i bought from the market
( i just love strawberries)
What are you're plans this Memorial Day weekend?
Have a Lovely Weekend.

    Five Lovely Things

    camel and elephant teapot
    1.  The adorable camel and elephant teapots are just something you have to get. The animal teapots would be just something fun and unexpected to a guest.

Dubble Bubble Gum (my favorite gum when I was a kid)
    2.  Dubble Bubble Gum has to be every kid favorite gum. And this king size gum would make anyone happy.

    cute napkins
    3.  I saw the napkins and thought that they were adorable. Great for a cocktail party.
    marshmallow fluff (another childhood favorite)
    4.  marshmallow fluff is so good. I could spread some on a graham cracker and it would sent me back to summer in my childhood.
    Pez candy
    5.   Pez candy had to be my all time favorite candy as a kid.

Have you ever went to a store and saw some food or toys that you haven't seen since you were a kid? Well the cute little store I went to not only had food and candy that I haven't seen since I was a kid. But also had some very stylish modern pieces for your home. My favorite was the teapot and napkins, though they had other great stuff. I would for sure have to go back there again. Well have a very Lovely Weekend everyone.

    Rainbow Cake

Last week was my friend's birthday and she wanted a rainbow cake. So I decided to make it for her. It was very short notice so I decided to just buy a cake mix, and buttercream, and of course food coloring gel. To make all six colors you will need three boxes of  vanilla cake mix, and three whipped buttercream frosting. Just prepare the cake mix by following the directions on the back of the box and divide the batter evenly (about 1 1/2 cups) into an 8 inch cake pan. The food coloring gel came with green, red, yellow, and blue. To make orange add one drop of red and three drops of yellow. For purple add two drop of blue and four drops of red. After you mix the coloring to the batter, bake for 25 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean). Let it cool and frost. Enjoy.
